Cbus Super Stadium is gearing up to host a celebration of women's international football next month, as part of the AFC Women's Asian Cup Australia 2026.
The venue will host six incredible matches across four days:
- Korea Republic v Islamic Republic of Iran – Monday 2 March, 7pm
- DOUBLE HEADER - Philippines v Korea Republic and Islamic Republic of Iran v Australia – Thursday 5 March, 1pm and 7pm
- Islamic Republic of Iran v Philippines – Sunday 8 March, 7pm
- DOUBLE HEADER - Play Off 1 and Play Off 2 – Thursday 19 March, 1pm and 7pm
While detailed planning has been undertaken, some disruptions may be experienced on game day, including game day noise, changes to traffic conditions, road closures and standard event-day parking restrictions within the Robina Traffic Area.
Event day
- Roads impacted include, Laver Drive, Stadium Drive, Cheltenham Drive, Promethean Way, Bayberry Lane, Robina Station Road, Promenade Avenue, Woody Views Way. Traffic signs will be erected in the relevant streets and barricades will be placed and manned in these areas to enforce restrictions.
- School pick-up at Arcadia College will be impacted by the traffic changes on Thursday 5 and Thursday 19 March. A carpark on the corner of Stadium Drive and Promethean Way will be used as a temporary pick-up zone on these days.
- School pick-up at Robina State High School may be impacted due to additional traffic on the road on Thursday 5 and Thursday 19 March.
- The event is expected to generate standard game day noise, and sound engineers will conduct regular testing to ensure noise complies with requirements.

Event day road closure day and times will be displayed on signage at entry to the Robina Local Traffic Area prior to the event.
Typically during major events the following changes apply:
- Stadium Drive (contra-flow)
- Access to Vue, Riverlily and Woody Views Way residents with a venue issued permit;
- Accessible parking to Australian Disability Parking Permit holders
- Access to Greenheart Parklands
- Cheltenham Drive between Robina Town Centre Drive and Laver Drive
- Access to residents of La Hacienda Way and Maximes
- Coach and private transfer parking for vehicles with applied for Stadium parking permits
Additional changed traffic conditions apply in the following neighbouring streets under the direction of Traffic Control Officers:
Promethean Way
Sports Way
East Lane
Robina Station Road
Paddington Place
Laver Drive between Cheltenham Drive and Robina Station Road
Centreline Place
Promenade Place
At times, access will only be granted to holders of Stadium issued parking permits.
Queensland Police Service will restrict access to roads including Stadium Drive for up to 60 minutes at the end of an event to ensure the safety of pedestrians when clearing the venue.
Vehicle and pedestrian access to streets within the area will be maintained at all times except under the direction of Queensland Police. Access from Greenheart Parklands onto Stadium Drive will NOT be permitted during this lockdown period.

To ensure street parking is available to residents that live around Cbus Super Stadium, the Robina Traffic Area has been created.
On event days, a 2-minute parking limit applies to all on-street parking spaces within the Robina Traffic Area, unless a valid parking permit is displayed on the vehicle. City of Gold Coast enforcement officers patrol the traffic area.

Local residents in close proximity to the Stadium are issued by Cbus Super Stadium Resident Stickers at the commencement of each calendar year. This sticker allows residents to access their property through traffic control points on major event days and applies to the following estates/streets:
- Riverlily (on Stadium Drive)
- Vue (on Stadium Drive)
- Woody Views Way (off Cheltenham Drive)
New Residents wishing to obtain a Resident Vehicle Sticker, will need to visit the Cbus Super Stadium Reception (on Western side of the venue) during office hours, or contact us on (07) 5656 5500 to arrange collection. If attending the office, please bring along current ID or proof of address.
For any other enquiries relating to authorised resident permits, please contact the City of Gold Coast Licensing and Approval Department on (07) 5667 5987. Permits are issued directly by the council on an annual basis to those who are eligible under the scheme.

If you are visiting Greenheart Robina Parklands on a day when there is an event at Cbus Super Stadium, Stadium Drive will be closed at certain times before and after the event.
