CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

COVID-19


People who have been in a Queensland Health declared Covid-19 hotspot anywhere in Australia in the last 14 days, or since the start date identified for the hotspot (whichever is shorter), may be refused entry into the venue.

Patrons are strongly encouraged to carry a mask at all times and wear it when you are unable to maintain social distance such as when entering or exiting the stadium or traveling on public transport. Patrons who do not comply with any directions of Management to comply with any health directions issued by the Queensland Government Chief Health Officer's in regards to COVID-19, may be committing an offence and may be refused entry to, or evicted from, Cbus Super Stadium.


Vaccination Requirements from 17 December 2021:
From 17 December, Queensland Government requires all ticketholders aged 16 and over to have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, in order to attend major events at Cbus Super Stadium.

Fans will be required to present proof of vaccination (or exemption) at the gate, please visit the Queensland Health website for more information.


Stadiums Queensland, working in consultation with QLD Health authorities prioritises the health and safety of attendees to Cbus Super Stadium.  Patrons will be denied entry to Cbus Super Stadium should they have or show symptoms that may place persons at risk, or endanger or impact on public health.
 
By purchasing or accepting Tickets to a Cbus Super Stadium event, Patrons acknowledge that, even with control measures in place at Cbus Super Stadium, there remains an unquantifiable risk of transmission of viral illness including COVID-19.  By attending Cbus Super Stadium, Patrons acknowledge that they have considered those risks and their own personal circumstances, including any health condition or vulnerability that Patrons may have, and the circumstances of persons with whom Patrons will be in close contact following attendance at the Cbus Super Stadium.  Patrons acknowledge that, for a small number of people, COVID-19 has very serious health consequences.   Stadiums Queensland expressly relies on Patrons to bring this health issue waiver to the attention of any guest(s) of the Patron.  Stadiums Queensland will rely on this health issue waiver and proceed on the basis that all Patrons acknowledge and accept these risks to enter the Cbus Super Stadium.

If you have a medical certificate exempting you from the health directions please contact Cbus Super Stadium on (07) 5656 5500 prior to the day of the event, so that we are able to confirm and facilitate your entry to the venue on the day. 


GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Stadiums Queensland is collecting your personal information on CCTV in and around the event precinct for the purpose of venue security and public safety. Footage may be provided to the Queensland Police Service. All personal information is handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009. Our Privacy Statement can be viewed here.
  • Management reserves the right of eviction and to prohibit entry on all matters concerning patrons under the influence of drugs or alcohol, disorderly or inappropriate behaviour, vandalism and admission evasion.  Breach of the rules will be reported to police.
  • Patrons bags and other items may be subject to inspection and patrons may be searched on entry. Patrons who refuse inspections and searches may be denied entry to the Stadium. 
  • Unauthorised persons are prohibited from entering the Stadium field of play and any other area not accessible by the public. 
  • Patrons are not permitted to transmit, broadcast, sell, license or otherwise publish, disseminate or reproduce recordings (including, without limited, photographic, video or sound recordings) of the event of match without the prior written approval of Stadium management. Such recording devices which are confiscated will become the property of the Venue. 
  • Patrons acknowledge that the Venue or the Hirer may use a patron's image or likeness as part of any recording of the event or match. 
  • Patrons assume all risk of any damage or loss (including property damage, personal injury, economic and consequential loss) however it arises at the Stadium. Patrons bring personal effects onto the premises at their own risk. Neither the Venue nor the Hirer will be responsible for any damage to or loss or theft of a customer’s personal property.
  • Persons under 12 years of age will not be permitted entry unless under the direct supervision of an adult 18 years of age or over.
  • Persons are restricted from the sale of goods or services or giving away political, religious, advertising or promotional materials without the prior written approval of the Owner and the Hirer.
  • The event or match may be cancelled, delayed or stopped due to dangerous situations, adverse weather or for any other cause beyond the Venue's control. Patrons may make a claim to the Hirer only for a replacement ticket if an event or match is rescheduled or for a refund of the face price of the ticket if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled.
  • The Hirer may add, withdraw or substitute competitors, teams or artists and/or vary advertised material, programmes, prices, seating arrangements, audience capacity, the venue or programme times without liability to the Hirer or to the Venue.

 

REFUSAL OF ENTRY

The right of admission is reserved. In particular, the Venue and the Hirer reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from, the Stadium any persons who:

  • are drunk or disorderly or whose conduct is unlawful or offensive;

  • are not entitled to attend the event or match;

  • causes a disturbance or who refuses to comply with reasonable requests from the Venue or the Hirer;

  • in the opinion of Stadium management, are offensively attired or whose attire may cause a hazard or compromise safety;

  • refuse inspections or searches by security, stadium staff or police.


SMOKING

Cbus Super Stadium is a NO SMOKING venue. Under the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998 (Qld) smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Stadium and its precincts. Patrons who smoke in the Stadium:

(a) commit an offence against the Act, to which fines apply; and
(b) may be immediately evicted from the Stadium.

Smoking is also banned within five (5) metres from each stadium entry point.
 

PRAMS

We encourage patrons to consider leaving their pram at home, however should you wish to bring please note it cannot be stored in walkways. Oversized prams unable to be stored under seats must be stored in venue Cloak Rooms. Other areas are not secured and patrons who leave items in these locations do so at their own risk. 
 

UMBRELLAS

Umbrellas are permitted in the Stadium but must not be opened or raised in the seating areas or concourses at any time. We recommend patrons bring ponchos or rain jackets for use inside the venue. 
 

BAGS / CLOAKING

Personal backpacks and bags smaller than an A3 piece of paper are permitted into the Stadium. These should be stowed under your seat while seated.

Large items (defined as those larger than A3 piece of paper) which cannot be stowed away under a patron’s seat or which pose a capacity or safety issue (such as hard eskies or duffle bags) will not be allowed into the venue and will need to be stored in venue Cloak Rooms. 

 

ALCOHOL

It is a condition of the liquor licence that liquor cannot be brought into the grounds.  Patrons other than the licensee, found bringing liquor onto the premises are liable for an on the spot fine for breaching the Liquor Act 1992.

 

The right of admission is reserved. In particular, the Owner and the Hirer reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from, the Stadium any persons who are drunk or disorderly or whose conduct is unlawful or offensive or who are not entitled to attend the event or match. Any person who causes a disturbance or who refuses to comply with reasonable requests from the Owner or the Hirer may be removed from the Stadium.

It is an offence for minors to purchase or consume alcohol or for persons to supply alcohol to minors. 
 

Alcoholic beverages must also not be removed from the Stadium.


PROHIBITED ITEMS/RESTRICTED ITEMS

Prohibited Items Include: 

  • Large oversized items including hard edge eskies
  • Folding chairs
  • Dangerous or illegal substances
  • Loud Hailers
  • Laser pens/pointers
  • Certain musical Instruments (including horns and whistles)
  • Flags or banners displaying
  • Items which are regarded as offensive or which can be used as a projectile or missile
  • Professional standard cameras with detachable lenses over 300mm, video and/or audio recorders, commercial digital equipment, camera tripods and/or monopods. Cameras may only be brought into the venue at the discretion of Stadium management.
  • Animals (with the exception of certified service animals) 
  • Hard eskies larger than 40cm x 40cm x 40cm
  • Bags and items larger than an A3 piece of paper
  • Clothing, personal items, signs or flags displaying commercial, political, religious or offensive signage or logos (unless approved in writing prior to the event by the Hirer or Venue) 
  • Items which in the opinion of Management, have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person e.g.: oversized flag poles


Prohibited Food and Beverage Items

  • Commercial food (e.g. from takeaway or fast food outlets, McDonalds, Subway, KFC, Domino’s etc.)
  • Commercial beverages
  • Deliveries from external caterers
  • Alcoholic beverages

If you would like to bring a prohibited item for medical reasons, please contact us prior to attending the event. 


Permitted Food and Beverage Items

  • Sealed commercial water - up to 1 litre
  • Personal water bottle filled with water – may be checked for alcohol
  • Lollies, chips/biscuits and similar items - personal quantities only
  • Fruit 
  • Poppa (tetra pack) fruit juice - one serve (250ml) per person (cannot be frozen) 
  • Home-made sandwiches, cakes, muffins, biscuits.
  • Thermos Flask for tea or coffee
  • Baby food and milk
  • Special dietary requirements or allergy based food
 

Patrons will generally be advised to dispose of such items or will have the items confiscated prior to entering the Stadium. This does not apply to food or beverages for patrons with special dietary requirements, provided that such food or beverages are not packaged in prohibited containers.
 

Management has the right to refuse entry and confiscate or refuse entry to prohibited items.
 

TICKETS

 The only official ticketing provider for Cbus Super Stadium is Ticketek.

 

  • Retain your event ticket at all times.  Pass-outs may be issued at the discretion of the Stadium management.
  • Patrons with tickets purchased at a concessional price must have available on entry into the Stadium proof of age or other documents justifying such concession.
  • Patrons may not be admitted if their tickets are damaged or defaced or their tickets have not been purchased from an authorised ticket agent.


Ticket Scalping - patrons who have purchased tickets in a manner which in any way breaches section 30C of the Major Sports Facilities Act 2001 (Qld) may be refused entry to the stadium. For more information, please view the Stadiums Queensland Ticket Scalping webpage.
 
The event or match may be cancelled, delayed or stopped due to dangerous situations, adverse weather or for any other cause beyond the Stadium management's control. Patrons may make a claim to the Hirer only for a replacement ticket if an event or match is rescheduled or for a refund of the appropriate amount of the face price of the ticket if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled.

The Hirer may add, withdraw or substitute competitors, teams or artists and/or vary advertised material, programmes, prices, seating arrangements, audience capacity, the venue or programme times without liability to the Hirer or to the Owner.
 
NO UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO THE FIELD OF PLAY (heavy penalties apply).  Unauthorised persons are also prohibited from accessing any other area not open to the public.
