Stadiums Queensland, working in consultation with QLD Health authorities prioritises the health and safety of attendees to Cbus Super Stadium.  Patrons will be denied entry to Cbus Super Stadium should they have or show symptoms that may place persons at risk, or endanger or impact on public health.
By purchasing or accepting Tickets to a Cbus Super Stadium event, Patrons acknowledge that, even with control measures in place at Cbus Super Stadium, there remains an unquantifiable risk of transmission of viral illness including COVID-19.  By attending Cbus Super Stadium, Patrons acknowledge that they have considered those risks and their own personal circumstances, including any health condition or vulnerability that Patrons may have, and the circumstances of persons with whom Patrons will be in close contact following attendance at the Cbus Super Stadium.  Patrons acknowledge that, for a small number of people, COVID-19 has very serious health consequences.   Stadiums Queensland expressly relies on Patrons to bring this health issue waiver to the attention of any guest(s) of the Patron.  Stadiums Queensland will rely on this health issue waiver and proceed on the basis that all Patrons acknowledge and accept these risks to enter the Cbus Super Stadium.
Stadiums Queensland strongly recommends that Patrons install the Australian Government COVIDSafe App on your mobile device, with Bluetooth activated prior to entering our venue.

Patrons who do not comply with any directions of Management to comply with any health directions issued by the Queensland Government Chief Health Officer's in regards to COVID-19, may be committing an offence and may be refused entry to, or evicted from, Cbus Super Stadium.  If you have a medical certificate exempting you from the health directions you need to contact Cbus Super Stadium on (07) 5656 5500 prior to the day of the event, so that we are able to confirm and facilitate your entry to the venue on the day




Under the Tobacco and Other Smoking Products Act 1998 (Qld) smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Stadium and its precincts. Patrons who smoke in the Stadium:

(a) commit an offence against the Act, to which fines apply; and
(b) may be immediately evicted from the Stadium.

Smoking is also banned within five (5) metres from each stadium entry point.



Oversized prams unable to be stored under seats must be stored in venue Cloak Rooms.




It is a condition of the liquor licence that liquor cannot be brought into the grounds.  Patrons other than the licensee, found bringing liquor onto the premises are liable for an on the spot fine for breaching the Liquor Act 1992.


The right of admission is reserved. In particular, the Owner and the Hirer reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from, the Stadium any persons who are drunk or disorderly or whose conduct is unlawful or offensive or who are not entitled to attend the event or match. Any person who causes a disturbance or who refuses to comply with reasonable requests from the Owner or the Hirer may be removed from the Stadium.

Alcoholic beverages must also not be removed from the Stadium.


Prohibitied Food and Beverage Items

  • Commercial food (e.g. from takeaway or fast food outlets, McDonalds, Subway, KFC, Domino’s etc.)
  • Commercial beverages
  • Deliveries from external caterers

Permitted Food and Beverage Items

  • Sealed commercial water - up to 1 litre
  • Personal water bottle filled with water – may be checked for alcohol
  • Lollies, chips/biscuits and similar items - personal quantities only
  • Fruit 
  • Poppa (tetra pack) fruit juice - one serve (250ml) per person (cannot be frozen) 
  • Home-made sandwiches, cakes, muffins, biscuits.
  • Thermos Flask for tea or coffee
  • Baby food and milk
  • Special dietary requirements or allergy based food

Patrons will generally be advised to dispose of such items or will have the items confiscated prior to entering the Stadium. This does not apply to food or beverages for patrons with special dietary requirements, provided that such food or beverages are not packaged in prohibited containers.


Management reserves the right of eviction and to prohibit entry on all matters concerning patrons under the influence of drugs or alcohol, disorderly or inappropriate behaviour, vandalism and admission evasion.  Breach of the rules will be reported to police.
Other Prohibited Items Include:

  • Large oversized items including hard edge eskies
  • Folding chairs
  • Dangerous or illegal substances
  • Loud Hailers
  • Certain musical Instruments (including horns and whistles)
  • Flags or banners displaying
  • Items which are regarded as offensive or which can be used as a projectile or missile
  • Items which in the opinion of Management, have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person e.g.: oversized flag poles

Management has the right to refuse entry and confiscate or refuse entry to prohibited items.
Coolers, eskies, bags, and other belongings must be stored under your seat.
Umbrellas are permitted in the stadium but must not be opened or raised in the seating areas or concourses at any time.
Management reserves the right to implement bag and body searches. Patrons who refuse inspections or searches may be denied entry to the Stadium.
Patrons wearing or display commercial, political, religious or offensive signage or logos, which in the opinion of Stadium management may cause a hazard or compromise safety may be refused entry into the Stadium. Persons are restricted from the sale of goods or services or giving away political, religious, advertising or promotional materials without the prior written approval of the Owner and the Hirer.
Items which, in the opinion of Stadium management, have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person will not be permitted into the Stadium. These include controlled, dangerous or illegal substances, cans, bottles, flares, fireworks, laser pointers, loud hailers and weapons of any description and may include certain musical instruments, flags and flagpoles and any other items considered by Stadium management to have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person.
Cameras (including digital cameras), audio and video recorders may only be brought into the venue at the discretion of Stadium management.
Patrons are not permitted to transmit, broadcast, sell, license or otherwise publish, disseminate or reproduce any recordings (including, without limitation, photographic, video or sound recordings) of the event or match without the prior written approval of Stadium management. Such recordings may be confiscated or erased. Any recordings or recording devices which are confiscated will become the property of the Owner.
Patrons acknowledge that the Owner or the Hirer may use a Patron's image or likeness as part of any recording of the event or match.
Patrons assume all risk of any damage or loss (including property damage, personal injury, economic and consequential loss) however it arises at the Stadium. Patrons bring personal effects onto the premises at their own risk. Neither the Owner nor the Hirer will be responsible for any damage to or loss or theft of a customer’s personal property.
Surveillance Cameras In Use
Stadiums Queensland collects your personal information on CCTV (closed circuit television) in the vicinity and within the stadium for the purpose of venue security and public safety.  Footage may be provided to the Queensland Police Service.  All personal information is handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009.
All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and under direct supervision by an adult aged 18+.
Patrons must follow the direction of stadium staff.


Retain your event ticket at all times.  Pass-outs may be issued at the discretion of the Stadium management.
Patrons with tickets purchased at a concessional price must have available on entry into the Stadium proof of age or other documents justifying such concession.
Patrons may not be admitted if their tickets are damaged or defaced or their tickets have not been purchased from an authorised ticket agent.

Ticket Scalping - patrons who have purchased tickets in a manner which in any way breaches section 30C of the Major Sports Facilities Act 2001 (Qld) may be refused entry to the stadium. For more information, please view the Stadiums Queensland Ticket Scalping webpage.
The event or match may be cancelled, delayed or stopped due to dangerous situations, adverse weather or for any other cause beyond the Stadium management's control. Patrons may make a claim to the Hirer only for a replacement ticket if an event or match is rescheduled or for a refund of the appropriate amount of the face price of the ticket if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled.

The Hirer may add, withdraw or substitute competitors, teams or artists and/or vary advertised material, programmes, prices, seating arrangements, audience capacity, the venue or programme times without liability to the Hirer or to the Owner.
NO UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO THE FIELD OF PLAY (heavy penalties apply).  Unauthorised persons are also prohibited from accessing any other area not open to the public.
