Freestyle Kings Live – the greatest show on two wheels – is coming Cbus Super Stadium in 2026

The Freestyle Kings Live action sports theatrical spectacular is set to explode in 2026 with a six-country, 50 show World Tour, which will descend onto Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday, 28th of March, for a night the Gold Coast will not forget.

Proudly supported by Experience Gold Coast, this event is billed as a fun for all ages, family-friendly show, Freestyle Kings Live features the best riders on the planet across Freestyle Motocross and BMX and is headlined by the first family of action sports, the modern-day Evel Knievel Robbie Maddison, and his two sons 14 year 14-year-old Kruz, and 11-year-old Jagger. Whilst Robbie is the face of the Freestyle Kings brand, his two sons, Kruz and Jagger, are its future.

“At 43 years old, it is no secret that I am closer to the end of my freestyle motocross career than I am to the start. My accomplishments on a dirt bike have been beyond my wildest dreams, but by far my greatest achievement is watching my three boys share the same passion I have for this sport, and to see them push through the nerves and perform in sell-out shows across the globe. They are little showmen at heart, and whilst I might be a bit biased, I think it’s the favourite part of the show for the crowd,” Robbie Maddison said.

“For us he is just Dad. We weren’t alive for his first big jumps, but he always shows us on YouTube and tells us how cool he used to be,” Kruz joked.

“Mum comes to all our shows, she is our biggest cheerleader, although she is probably more nervous than us when it comes to our turn to jump in the show,” Jagger added.

It’s not just the Maddison family transcending onto the Gold Coast, with local FMX World Champion and Pat Bowden leading an all-star international FMX and BMX crew.

“I’m originally from Sydney but moved to the Gold Coast 6 years ago to further my career. Getting to ride year-round around here on the Goldy with Australia’s best dirt bike riders has elevated my riding to new heights. Our show at Cbus Super Stadium in 2024 was so good. Getting to ride in front of my family and friends, as well as the entire action sports industry, was the best feeling in the world, and I cannot wait to do that again,” Bowden said.

After its huge success in 2024, Gold Coast was the first stop chosen as part of this 14 stop tour of Australia, as part of the Freestyle Kings World Tour, and Freestyle Kings Promoter Josh Hannah said “I am a proud New South Welshman, but its impossible to argue, the Gold Coast is the action sports capital of Australia. Gold Coast holds the record for the biggest Freestyle Kings show in Australia, and we expect another huge turnout from the greatest supporters of action sports in Australia”.

Speaking on the announcement, Gold Coast Mayor, Tom Tate said: “High energy sports entertainment fits the bill when it comes to our city’s major events calendar.’’

“Attracting the world’s best freestyle motocross team will promote the coast across the globe and deliver the very best aerial action from these incredible athletes. Make a date with Cbus Stadium and be prepared to be amazed,” Mr. Tate said.

Cbus Super Stadium General Manager Kristian Blundell said the venue is thrilled to welcome the Freestyle Kings Live back to the Gold Coast in 2026.

“We’re pumped to host the world-renowned Australian Freestyle Motocross Team and play our part in ensuring Gold Coast remains a major events destination,” Mr Blundell said.

“Cbus Super Stadium is fast becoming the home of major motorsport events, further showcasing the versatility of the venue – from NRL and NRLW to concerts, international football to monster trucks, Cbus can do it all!”.

Minister for Sport and Racing and Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tim Mander said the event was another great addition to Queensland’s impressive sporting calendar.

“It’s great to welcome such a high-profile event to the Gold Coast, and it reinforces Queensland’s status as a premier destination for world-class sport,” Minister Mander said.

“Hosting events like these in our state inspires young Queenslanders to get active and chase their dreams in sport.”
