New Quiet Room enhancing customer experience at Cbus Super Stadium

A quieter, more welcoming experience is now available for visitors at Cbus Super Stadium, with the recent opening of a new Quiet Room facility. The new space is designed to provide a calm area away from the activity of the venue and was delivered in partnership by Stadiums Queensland’s Asset and Facilities team and the Cbus Super Stadium team.

Acting Venue General Manager Alie Tatnell said the new Quiet Room is part of the Cbus Super Stadium’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer experience.

“Live events should be something everyone has the opportunity to enjoy, and we’re continually looking for ways to make our venue more inclusive and accessible,” Ms Tatnell said.

“While the atmosphere inside a stadium is what makes live events so special, we recognise that for some people it can be overwhelming.

“The Quiet Room provides somewhere patrons can take a break and regulate, then return to the event when they are ready.

“Accessibility isn’t just about physical infrastructure. It is about creating an experience where people feel comfortable, supported and confident to attend events with their family and friends.”

Located on the Eastern Concourse opposite Aisle 20, the Quiet Room is available throughout every event and has been designed to support patrons who may need a moment away from the noise and activity of a busy stadium.

The room features four individual areas that can be partitioned to provide additional privacy for patrons, their families or support people.

Comfortable seating, soft lighting and a quieter environment allow visitors to regulate, recharge and return to the event when they are ready. Trained venue staff are available nearby to assist patrons and help ensure everyone feels welcome and supported throughout their visit.
