BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

Hitchin’ a ride? 🚗 Take public transport, FREE!

Whether you’re arriving by bus, train or Hitchin’ a ride –it’s important you plan ahead to ensure you arrive in time for the show, and know how you’re getting home. There’s no parking at the stadium and nearby streets are subject to event day restrictions and closures, so public transport is your best bet to get to the concert– it’s included FREE in your ticket! Robina Train Station is located just 350 metres from the station, with a train ride from Brisbane Central about 1 hour and 20 minutes direct. No brainer! Concert-goers can ride FREE on any train (excluding AirTrain), including to and from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Kinetic bus services and G:Link services are also available FREE across the Gold Coast from 1:00pm until last service.

There are also FREE Park and Ride Shuttle from Firth Park (Mudgeeraba), Broadbeach South (G:Link Station) and Burleigh Heads State School (Gold Coast Highway). Check the stadium’s official website for detailed information on transportation and parking options, including special event bus routes, timings, drop-off and pick up zones for taxis, rideshare and private coaches.

💡 Tip: Public transport is FREE!

Don’t be an (American) idiot - 😵‍ Have your (valid) ticket ready!

Know your enemy: scammers. Only Nimrods fall for scumbags with fake tickets, so avoid unofficial sellers, and ensure you only purchase tickets through Ticketmaster!

Once tickets are issued, be sure to download tickets in your Ticketmaster app, and send tickets on to any members of your group before you leave for the concert to avoid entry delays. Remember, your phone is your ticket and your digital tickets feature barcodes that refresh regularly to prevent scammers, so screenshots won’t work!

💡 Tip: Transfer tickets to friends before the show.

Leave the basket, case, backpack and bags at home!

Minority rules: only bring what you need. Leave your bag at home to avoid bag checks and get to your seat faster! Backpacks are not permitted on the floor (Golden Circle/General Admission) and any bags over 40cm x 40cm x 40cm will need to be cloaked.

WARNING: Bag searches are compulsory, so check the website for full details of what to pack:

✅ your card – we're cashless!
✅ reusable personal water bottle - no glass (water bottles will not be permitted in Golden Circle)
✅ a poncho - if it looks like rain (no umbrellas).
🚫 No professional cameras, signs or artist gifts
🚫 No outside food & drinks—there’ll be plenty inside, including vegetarian and gluten-free.
🚫 No dangerous items —yes, this includes your studded belt.

💡 Tip: Leave the bag at home and keep your hands free for moshing.

ARRIVAL AND ENTRY

Nice guys finish last – 😎 smart guys arrive early, at the correct gate

Ticket loaded in Ticketmaster app ✅
Phone brightness up ✅
Gate listed on your ticket ✅

The boulevard of broken dreams is littered with people who arrived late and unprepared – don't be one of them! Gates open at 5:00pm, so make sure you arrive early, at the gate listed on your ticket (see a map of all the gates here) to ensure you don’t miss a minute! You must enter via the gate listed on your ticket, or the ticket won’t get you in. Have your ticket ready on your phone and turn up the brightness. We’re using Ticketmaster’s new encrypted mobile tickets, which use a unique barcode that automatically refreshes every few seconds so that your tickets cannot be stolen or copied, so screenshots, photos and print outs will not be accepted at the gates.

Around 30,000 fans are expected at the concert, so arriving early ensures you can get through security smoothly, find your seat and maybe grab some merch beforehand to remember the time of your life. Three merchandise marquees are available outside the venue and will be open from 12pm (remember your card- we're cashless!). Once inside, you will find merchandise stands on the East (near Aisle 18) and on the West (near Aisle 5). If you need to cloak items, leave extra time and visit the cloak rooms at Gates A, B and D; then head to your gate - all bags will be checked by Security upon entry.

💡 Tip: Arrive early, but not too early! Toilets, food, drink and shade marquees will be available outside pre-show to accommodate early arrivals, but no queuing will be permitted before 10.00am on concert day.
